Imagine for a moment that you are in charge of educating a large group of Walmart truck drivers on a new corporate policy that everyone across North America must be made aware of quickly. The training course may only take about 5 to 10 minutes, but you’ve got to train thousands of drivers who are dispersed across the country in hundreds of communities.
How can you possibly deliver essential training to a workforce that is so spread out? Well, if the people can’t get to the training, then the training has to get to the people!
That’s exactly what WeLoveLearning excels at. Using technology and their intuitive instructional course design experience, they specialize in developing micro-training and courses that can be delivered to any person, at any time, at any place.
About Janet
Janet Stewart, CEO of WeLoveLearning, began her Instructional Course Designer career in 1987 and has completed her post-secondary education on Adult Education at St. Francis Xavier University. During the first stage of her career, she worked in the corporate sector and then as a consultant and in-person training professional for various municipal, provincial and federal government departments. About 10 years ago, Janet could see that the learning landscape was about to make a major shift and began to shift her company into the eLearning space by experimenting with various technologies and online design methodologies. Today, her team is able to deliver training to not only remote workforces, but to remote and isolated communities around the world.
Most recently, she has discovered an untapped need to provide education and training to employers and citizens of Jamaica, Guyana and Trinidad and Tobago.
Janet’s Passion – Digital Schooling
One of Janet’s passions is to extend her work into digital schooling whereby education can be delivered to anyone via a laptop or mobile device, regardless of where they live in the world. She’s a strong believer that education is a great enabler to a good society, and that education can lift entire nations.
Today, WeLoveLearning is a thriving business and we at WorkAway Offices are fortunate to have Janet and her team as members of our community.
